Felt and Canvas

A big thank you to Joanna who is the host of this month's CAS Mix Up Challenge and the rest of the design team for making me dig out my felt and even a sheet of canvas that I got from a friend a long time ago to make this super simple card.

Stamps: Uniko (sentiment)
Dies: My Favorite Things (flower and leaves), SSS (stitched rectangle)

Wasn't sure if I could die cut the canvas because it was thick but it worked with a little help from some scissors. Lolls advice of backing the felt with some light card stock was a good one! The canvas was printed with different butterflies, moths, etc. in different sizes. Some of them were partially colored. The trick was to find a piece that would work for this relatively small rectangle.

Katrin

This little canvas is a little work of art, Susanne! This makes me remember some printed canvas that I have stashed away. I wonder where I hid it? Hmmm....You have inspired me to find it! Love the sweet felt flower too! Thanks for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!

Apologies galore for falling behind in commenting; the flu set me back (slowly recovering...) and now in the midst of a flurry - or rather, blizzard - of DT responsibilities! How lovely your snippet of canvas; you know I'm swooning over the butterfly! The flower is a lovely special touch! May I ask the brand of the small rectangle? It's such a sweet size...

I didn’t have any of the products for this month's CASMU challenge, but fabulous use of the canvas and felt here. The stamped canvas looks beautiful. The felt added another level of texture and dimension. Great card.
